deleting programs

 A while ago this was very straightforward on windows 10, now, for reasons only known to themselves it has become complicated. Is there still an easy way of doing it?
Nothing is perfect, not even my ignorance!

in the "old days" they tried to get our phones to be like our PC's now they make our PC's like our phones!
