Title: XP menu
Post by: Baz on Aug 31, 2008, 09:56:48
might be a daft question but on the start menu in XP, on mine anyway, there is three options, Help and Support; Search; Run.   These are some things I dont use very often and I know you can remove them from the list but how do you open them once removed if you ever need them. Help you can get to from the control panel but what about the othe two.

I bet this is one of those obvious answers too :D

Sorry, but I can't help, Baz, as I use classic menus so I know where things are. :(

Go into start menu,   right click,    properties,   customise    then advanced tab    and you will see a list of clickable options.

To get to the 'Run' box, you can use the Win+R keyboard shortcut (Win being the Windows key), and from the Desktop, F1 for help and Support.  :)
