Post by: talos2 on Aug 20, 2008, 22:43:06
I have tried several time to switch off notification to these two subjects-
Once upon a time and Who is this, without success, all others seem to switch on and off without problem, can you do it from within please.

It's not something I can do as a lowly GM, Bob, but Rik probably can.  In the meantime, have you tried making a post in either of the topics, and clicking Additional Options under the message box, then untick Notify there?

Fraid so,  I've tried everything I can think of,  I know it's not a huge problem, but it's one of those  little niggles that's getting under my skin.

I've just taken a look, Bob. You don't have notification turned on for those two, so I suspect something has got stuck. I'll do an error check on the database.

I've optimised the database and checked for any errors, but nothing has shown up, Bob. If the problem persists, I'll ask Lance to take a look when he gets back from his holiday.

Thanks Rik, I did a bit of switch flicking or equivalent this morning(rapid on /off ) several times, in the hope it might free something up, but I'll let you know, thanks again.
