I sent an email this morning without problems via the IDNet SMTP without any problems.
All OK here too.
Hmm... it seems to be just my laptop which has the problem. How curious. :eyebrow:
Have you gone over the settings? Different AV?
Nothing's changed - I think I'll just set up the accounts again and see if that cures it. It's only smtp.idnet.com that seems to be affected. Other email accounts send OK.
Try changing to smtp.idnet.net, see if that helps.
I will, but haven't time to fiddle with it now.
Did you get to the bottom of this, Simon, or was it one of those problems that just disappeared?
To be honest, I'd forgotten about it, as I so rarely send any emails from my laptop. I expect the problem is still there, but I probably just need to set the accounts up again.
