The BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7542810.stm) is reporting that "The UK government has until the end of August to respond to a letter from the European Union about the controversial online ad system Phorm.
EU commissioner Viviane Reding has asked the UK government to clarify whether the system is in breach of European data laws."
I'm beginning to like the EU a bit. :thumb:

I always have Rik, our media never report anything positive about the EU, it is all biased against it.
A good bit of news, hopefully. :thumb:
Ironic isn't it that it's a couple of women doing all the fighting - Vivianne Redding and Neelie Kroes who bested Microsoft. When you look at Hattie Harman and Patricia Hewitt, it makes you think we must put something in the water.
Jellyfish? ;D
lol
I've never liked the EU (still don't), but I'm glad that someone is able and willing to apply real pressure on this :thumb:
Those two deserve a karma :)
We'll make them honorary members. :)
