Title: 21CN WPC What to expect
Post by: stevenrw on Aug 01, 2008, 14:18:18
My connection, with IDNET whilst not blisteringly fast, has been pretty stable for some while. I notice according to Samknows that my local exchange is due to change over to 21CN WBC RFS set date 18 Aug 2008 - a couple of weeks away.
I'm about 3 or 4 km from the exchange.
Can I expect any improvement in download speed or will it really be imperceptible?
Historically, are they normally on or around schedule with these changeovers?

Expect nothing, Steve. The service won't be available to end users for some months yet, my guess is November.
