I am not sure if this is to do with the loss of connection or not but my speeds have droped badly. I have a sync rate of 2400kbps upstream of 832kbps a SNR of 18 and a download speed of about 1.7. Not happy at all. I recently changed packages to Max Premium Protected from Home Super Max. To be honest if this is all my line is going to give me i might as well pay £5pm to my mobile company and have a rubbish connection. (sorry rant over >:()

That is strange, my download is above 6 every time I check, connection uptime = 7days 9 hours.

My exchange is red and has been for some time. My download speed has been siting at about  2.3 since September, now it droped down to 1.8. The only thing which may have made a diffrence was i asked for the interleaving to be switched on yesterday. Could that have made a change to my speed ?

I know from experience it adds from 20 to 40 ms's to your pings but i don't know if it effects speeds though i would be surprised if it didn't.

This (http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/interleaving.htm) tells you far more than you really wanted to know about interleaving.  But yes it can slow you down a bit. This is the price for increased stability.

Just checked my SNR now up to 20. Its never been that high. I hope its the interleaving or i have a big problem someware. Router has been up and running for 22 hours which is strange as i knew i lost connection around 14.50 yesterday.

I lost connection at 12:38 on Saturday, noise margin went negative and didn't recover. I re-booted and re-connected with a higher sync speed - weird.  ::)

Spoke to the team at Idnet this morning. Looks like there is a problem someware on the line. Lets hope this enhanced care pays off.

Looks like the interleaving was causing a big problem. I brought a preconfigured 585 router from Idnet. That turned up today as well. Not sure but i think my stats look ok now
