They're planning a version with the Wii Fit providing the power. ;)

Oh, it would still take me hours to work out which tool I need for what! ;D

Likewise Simon, a 12 month course on it would leave me little wiser. :(
All very nice, but I can't see it coming to a PC World near you in the near (or even pretty far) future ;D
I am sure MS would only come up with a new OS that would use twice it's available resources.. ::)
Cynic. :)
Realist... ;D

I have to be honest and say that it is far better/faster than I had hoped it would be Mad', however I still prefer XP .. ;)

Each to their own mate - but at least you've seen that it doesn't take 3 hours to do everything, and is not the pile of poo that some would have you believe ;)

They have already, haven't they? It's called Windows 7. :out:
I'm keeping quiet... almost. ;D
I bet you're thinking that they've already released an OS that requires twice this computer's power. ;)
Or have one in alpha testing. :)
:hehe:

Where I was staying for my recent holiday they had a fairly old desktop computer which moved like a snail. The broadband connection was equally slow. They did have an anti-virus program but I don't think that they had any anti-spyware and probably never did Windows Security Updates. :o They said to me that they had been told that broadband was fast but they thought that that was rubbish. ;D
I bet there are lots just like them Noreen. ;)
And you didn't call us in, Noreen? We'd have got rid of the snails at least. ;)
I learned a long time ago to never get involved with other people's computers unless specifically asked, Rik. ;D They were exasperated by their computer's performance but had absolutely no interest in doing anything about it.
Very wise Noreen.. ;)
Sounds like a wise position to take. :)
