Title: missing DLL's
Post by: Malc on May 24, 2008, 16:32:02
Hi All (http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z207/Ram4ever/Smilies/smilie_help.gif)  (we need a help smilie  ;)).

Having had huge probs with a virus today, I have give up free AV and bought NOD32.

My PC is up and running now and seems fine  :fingers:

I have system restored the PC, run NOD32, Spybot, etc and have Comodo running.

The only prob I can see now is on boot up I get 2 missing DLL messages, they are

system32\tfgrugmi.dll
system32\mjcquop.dll

I have googled, but can't find anything, things seems fine, so the question is, how do I get rid of the two messages everytime I boot up?

:thnks:

edit  er, we have a  :hlp: smilie.

Try running something like CCleaner, Malc - chances are that there's a registry entry calling these files. Also take a look at MSCONFIG, to see if there's anything there which looks a likely candidate.

 :thnks: Rik,

I'll try it.

A good prog I found, which cleared out some adware ( about 50!) and is free, is Superantispyware.

Lines 3 and 4, haven't rebooted yet, but it's looking good with them there.  ;)

CCleaner is excellent for things like this. It looks like it'll sort it. :thumb:
