There must be others like me, who dislike the arrows on the desktop shortcut icons!
I found this small, simple to use download, today, and my desktop has improved immediately.
Download the 'Vista Shortcut Manager'
Make sure you download the correct version, i.e. x86 for 32bit : 64 for 64bit.
Get it here (http://www.frameworkx.com/download.aspx?a=83&m=84)
Hope you find it usefull.

Great find, Mo. I must confess I've always used TweakUI to do that job until now.
Reading this got me wondering whether there is a TweakUI for Vista, and apparently there isn't one. I wonder if MS will release one (probably not). :)
If they were going to do it, you;d have thought they would have by now, Sebby. A great shame, imo, I've always regarded it as an indispensable tool.
I agree, it was always a useful tool. To be honest, though, I can't say that I've missed it on vista.
Tuneup 2008 is a good piece of kit if anyones interested. it tweaks, modifies, cleans reg, defrags reg, frees up space, solves problems and will also give your comp a mini defrag if it needs to.
sound too good to be true doesn't it ;D
really good programme. :thumb:

Correction: Does it make the beverages? ;D :P

I should have know that you guys were expecting it. :D
We like to get in first mate. ;D
