Title: SBC Hotfix?
Post by: Ted on May 11, 2008, 12:26:38
Woke up this morning with an uncontrollable urge to try the SBC firmware.....So i did ;D
Working perfectly, wireless 1 to 10, etc.

The thing is, i went to the recycling center with an old washing machine (not Liz)  Just checked the log and found this, (see pic) wasn't there when i went out.

This wouldn't be the elusive hotfix for the vulnerability that was recognized recently, would it?

any ideas?

It could well be, Ted. There was some talk of it over on DSL Reports a little while ago. :)

There is some good info here (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r19987755-2Wire-Cross-Site-Request-Forgery-Vulnerability) and here (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r20156920-DNS-Hijack-on-2wire-routers). :)

I just started an account with 2wire.com and asked them.

I'm not holding my breath but you never know ;D
