Well I'm still on version 9.
Must admit I use BSPlayer for most things and don't really bother with WMP, except when it forces itself on me.
Still, it's only a 24MB download - I'd expected far more.

i have to say, I've tried alternative players but just haven't liked them. WMP does it for me and version 11 builds on the success of it predecessors.

I'd go along with that. And real alternative doesn't keep trying to register itself to start up with the computer.
I use Startup Monitor to warn me about sneaky programs registering themselves to load at startup, and real player was a right pain.
