Title: 2Wire Power Supply Question
Post by: LesD on Apr 05, 2008, 13:48:26
When I received two 2700's from my eBay seller he gifted the second one to me because he had no PSU for it.

I have found a PSU on eBay with the following rating: Rated 5.1 Volts at 2.5Amp (or 4 Amp peak)

Does anyone know if the 2.5Amp current rating is adequate for the Dual SSID version?

I would advise you get one that has identical specs to the original, i.e. what Glenn says. :)

i use an ipaq psu for testing.

5v 2amps rating works fine...havent run it for any period of time.

any 5v regulated with at least 3 amps (go for 4 minimum to give 50% overhead-and it will run cooler) should be okay
