Title: 2700HGV general iffyness
Post by: Simon on Mar 16, 2008, 20:02:50
My 2Wire seems to be very unstable at the moment, and I have little hope of maintaining a 14 day sync if things carry on like this.  I did disconnect it from the power last Monday, during the storms, but other than that, it's been on all the time, and I have done anything to it, but it's not looking good to me.  Any comments on the diags attached?

Simon, that looks like the same problem I have been experiencing, now for the past 2 days it has just cleared up.

Maybe BT work, Simon given some of the times. I've just had my 12 day reboot, but otherwise it's been rock solid.

I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it.

By the way, the Speedtouch I bought off eBay never arrived, and along with 8 other people, a claim has now gone in to PayPal.

How much did you pay? Maybe DSL Depot would be worth a look, particularly if the 2700 is giving you grief.

How annoying. I hope you get it sorted.

For the first time ever my 2700 has resync'd of it's own accord - at 4000  :eek4:

Will reboot again in the morning

What do you usually sync at, Alan?

between 4800 -5100

I am fiddling around at bridging to another router while setting up my own servers outside my LAN, maybe I have got something else wrong.

Will try in the morning when the noise is less.

Noise does vary, so it's nothing to worry about. A re-sync in the morning should get it back to normal. :)
