I'm recently (Monday 10th) signed up to Home Lite up to 8MB.
My modem router stats show a downstream rate of 7616 kbps.
On the DSLZone Speed Test, I'm averaging about 1800 kbps:
| Date Time | Kbps |
| 11 Mar 2008, 19:40 | 1881 |
| 11 Mar 2008, 19:38 | 1729 |
| 11 Mar 2008, 00:11 | 1962 |
| 10 Mar 2008, 20:34 | 1943 |
| 10 Mar 2008, 20:32 | 1678 |
The BT Speed Test give me this:
IP profile for your line is - 2000 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 7616 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1874 kbps
Is this a reasonable actual throughput for the given stats?
The throughput is reasonable for the profile, but that appears to be stuck. You'll need to leave it a few days (5), if it remains stuck, ask IDNet to kick the tyres. For your sync speed, I'd expect you to get a 6500k profile.
Hopefully the profile will rise a bit quicker than the 5 days, but I wouldn't bet on it!
OK thanks guys - I'll see how it is by next week (truth is, with PIPEX, I was getting about 1/4 of the current speeds).
I'd give it 'til Friday lunchtime. If it's still the same give IDNet a ring and they can kick BT before they go home for the weekend!

Anything's better than Pipex. Just be aware that this isn't correct (even if it is better than Pipex) and it should clear, but if it doesn't IDNet can prompt BT to do it manually. Then you should be zooming along. :)

That much, I was robbed!
