You can't just have a verdict on it's own!! Not in one word anyway.

Mine would be that it shows promise, still has teething troubles, and (in my case) is unlikely to be really useful until after the school holidays are over.

Is that a Yay or a Nay?

Why not?

Max DSL ... Verdict? Yay or Nay, simple as ;) Just enter your answer and leave a comment below if you want to discuss why you Yay or Nayed it :)

What if I do another one, French Fries ... Verdict? Like or Dislike, would you like me to add an option of Like ... but only if they`re not fried in homogenised hydrogenated vegetable fat?? :D

I`m a simple bloke ... as you know :)

French Fries ... Verdict? Like or Dislike

No problem with that, but French Fries ... Verdict? Yay or Nay....   it's ambiguous without a reasonably specific question:

Yay, I like them, but Nay, they're not good for me.

But OK, I'll put a Yay (with reservations) on the poll....

One thing I'd like to point out here, being very much of a 'glass-is-half-full' (fecking annoying Pollyanna if you listen to my wife !) point of view.

10 days ago we were all <> 2Mbps...now we're getting that at least with better uploads and hopefully as the bugs fall out BT's woeful back-end infrastructure we'll be getting better and better uploads. All for NO EXTRA COST !?!?

So I say a resounding "Yay" and I've been 2.5 days waiting for cap to lift.

That`s more like it! ;) i`m gonna be a Tory backbencher and wait until the majority has spoken then ... stick an orange in my mouth :D

You would say "yay" with 6mb plus (on 1/1 contention)  :P

I agree.....anything above 2mb, which is free (off BT ) is worth a yay  ;)

I wish... currently my daytime speeds are slower than when I was on 2meg >:(

Hence my reservations, if they pick up in term time then I'll withdraw them.

Bill I got a funny feeling that there was something up with the whole internet today, for I was a lot slower than normal today (but I put it down to little bratt's at home at first) but I think there was a hiccup somewhere (BT fried a fuse  :P )

Well, there have been some surprises. My stats were nothing great (46dB DS attenuation and 21 DS SNR on 2 meg) but I`m syncing usually around the 6.5Mbit mark. Just performed this (http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedchart.asp?id=723f85f510a9096d26dc84eb2cc) speedy, not too shabby ;)

i wish mine was as good as that!
I am syncing at 2400kbps doesnt want to sync any higher.
My router wont sync much higher than 1mb!! I am not sure why. I need to replace some of the wiring in the house because its really really old, I reckon that should make quite a difference.
I did get sync of 3000kbps but didnt stay like that long. Ive had download speeds of 250k but it doesnt stay like that long then drops.

On the AG speed test its kept saying my download speed is around 30k lol! i think the down speed is changing quite alot.
shame i am not seeing 6mb speeds really :(
