Title: "Buffering..."
Post by: lmartin on Mar 03, 2008, 12:26:23
This is something I keep seeing when listening to Radio 1 Stream on IDNet.  It doesn't seem to happen on our other (PlusNet) connection.

It's more or less the only constant bandwidth use in the office.  We use VoIP for our telephone system and calls seem fine but the radio stream buffers intermittently and being on a VoIP call makes no difference.

If I immediately switch the internet connection to PlusNet all is well again.

Just a moment ago, when browsing, MSN signed me out and the Radio Stream stopped at the same time.  I also lost connectivity to some (but not all) of the internet.

Any ideas?

Ps. As I posted, the Radio stopped and MSN signed me out again!  Though most of the time the Radio stops to buffer, MSN stays in fine.

Okay.  Another 'blip'.  This time we lost our VoIP calls too.  Hmmm....

Can you post your line stats and a BT speed test result? I'd also be interested to see the line stats for the other line.
