Title: Anyone for Chess?
Post by: Glenn on Mar 03, 2008, 11:51:19
Any chess players out there? I have signed up and play at www.chess.com. it's a great easy to use site but still a beta at the moment. I'm not a very good player, but it is an enjoyable way to pass some time.

Well, your avatar should help, Glenn. :)

I taught Sue to play, but we stopped when she started beating me. ;)

Was that because you kept cheating?  ;D

No, I stopped cheating - that was my downfall. :)

I used to be quite good at chess when I was at school. I even was a member of the chess club!

I just installed it on my iPhone last week and still haven't been able to beat the 'computer' - its shocking considering others can beat supercomputers.

I'm addicted again so hopefully I'll play better. I still don't think you can beat a real board tho.
