Title: BT2wire 2700 firewall
Post by: DP on Mar 02, 2008, 13:56:53
Hi

Just got a BT2wire 2700 I have enabled the firewall but on using the leak test http://www.grc.com/lt/leaktest.htm
From Gibson Research http://www.grc.com/default.htm I find it can get through to port 80, is this normal or is there something else I need to set.

The router as been flashed with SBC firmware and I have a copy of the firmware just encase.
I am no expert so would like someone with a little more knowledge on this subject to give me some reassurance about this test.

Thanks,

David

I'm not a great fan of Steve Gibson. Try this site:

Hi Rik

That's funny cus I am not a fan of Norton, it's a bit like AOL takes over your computer.
Any way tried to run variability test but it wanted to install software,
I have let Norton install things in the past and regretted it, so I think I will try another test and see what results I get.

That's the problem when Symantec take over Sygate, David. :(
