Hi all.
Thought i would ask here for help before i go hounding the tech support. I successfully migrated today with no problems (except my router connecting at 7256k which reduced my ip profile to 6500k but I'm back at full sync so hopefully a few days and I'll be back up to 7150k)
Anyway even though i have selected the super max package to gain the extra upload speed I'm still at the 448k speed, will this go up normally or will i have to speak to tech support about this?
A quick email or phone call would be your best bet.
I agree, something seems not right, I'm on SM and I had 832 upload speeds straight away :)
It sounds like BT have made a mistake, contact support straight away. At least they got the rest of the migration right. :)
Gave tech support a quick call and they said give it a few days something to do with the exchange profile or something. Properly give it till Monday and see what is what.
I didn't think profiles applied to the upstream connection. ???

  Such a confession, really!
No me neither but then again I'm no expert. He did also mention something about errors and to switch my router off at night for at least 15 Min's then it should all level out. It's funny as with my last provider i switched from a home package to a office to get the extra upload speed but i never did get it, i reported it with them and they started to investigate but i never stayed around long enough as I'm now here lol
Odd. I'll ask around...

Cheers Rik absolutely 1st class service :thumb:
Fixed?
Yup. I've just had a natter to Simon on the subject. Normally, SuperMax has the 832k u/s assigned from the outset, but the extra, above 448k, comes from the same pool as the d/s speed. For some reason, and something Simon's not seen before, this time BT didn't do that, putting all the speed on the d/s.
The extra Upload speed is a Godsend if you use BT.
More useful than the extra 30 gig DL.
30 gig - wow, that's some connection you've got there, Malc. ;) :out:

speed
Ah... :)
Jester, was your router sync'ing at 448? or was that upload data speed with a sync of 832?
The router upstream sync was at 448 :)
Yeah as lance said the sync was 448! But its all sorted now full upload and download sync and line very stable! Just gotta wait for my Ip profile to change from 6500k to 7150k.
Five days, probably. :(
