how do you insert a link in a post but change the words to whatever you want instead of the long address itself.

Hi Baz

You type [ url=<insert full url>]what you want to call it[ /url], removing the spaces after the opening [ bracket.

eg, [ url=www.bbc.co.uk]BBC[ /url] becomes BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk)

ahh!!!   so simple.  So can you use the insert hyperlink icon then change it

Yup. If you use reply, rather than the QR box, the insert hyperlink does it all for you. We're trying to resolve the code for the QR box.
