Hi anyone,me again. connection down for Wednesday,think I have done most of it.
Will I need to change my router settings?will I need to change the e mail settings on express any last things I need to be aware of?
Some websites I have tried to enter the email address for the future don't recognize it as a valid e mail address and I couldn't work this out.
Finally what is this Karma thing you guys give ?is it a way of thanking each other.
I have read it but not sure.and you can tell this is the first time I have really got into a forum.so if I make the odd error I apologise in advance. :conf:

All you should need to change in your router are login name and password, the rest should happen automatically. Despite having a static IP address, IDNet recommend you let the router pick it up automatically, ie treat it as a dynamic IPA which never changes.
I'm not sure why the email address would not be recognised on some sites. There used to be a problem with the old idnetfreemail addresses being refused by some sites, but I've not heard any problems with idnet.com. What sites, do they give a specific message about the address? Have you actually tested the address yourself, ie sent to it and checked the message has been received?
Karma is, as you thought, a way of saying thank you. It's covered in the Forum FAQ in Help, but basically, under a members' current karma total, you will see a link [Give karma]. Click on that, give a brief reason, and job done. :)
Thanks Rik yes I have sent emails to my other addresses no problems sent received thats why I was a little confused.I think Kaspersky was one of the not valid email addresses.see how it goes will let you know which ones reject the address.thanks again :angel:
