Title: Max ADSL

Ive just signed up for max ADSL with idnet, i just have a question..

im going on holiday next week, my line is activated on the 27th..

do i leave the router connected and turned on so it can train... or do i wait til i get back from hols?

or will it make no difference?

Hi mate and welcome. In all honesty, I don`t know, this one never came up  :laugh:

I would leave your router off until you come back. Once you connect to your exchange when you come back, your BRAS profile will be set and monitored thereafter for 10 days ... at least this way you will be able to keep an eye on things ;)

I would PM Simon for the correct answer, I just gave a personal opinion :)

well its been on 3 days.. first two days it was at 1.8mbs
i woke up this morning to find about 6.6mbs  ;)
wonder how long that will last hehe

pings have been high and low, but looking at the rest of the forum i see this is a common problem
