I don't know if it's something that IDNet have done, or if it's my line, but pings to UK servers are now sub 10ms, down from around 16ms.  If it is IDNet, great job guys.

Still about the same here. Is it possible that interleaving was removed from your line?

As far as I know I've never had interleaving on.  Pings to jolt.co.uk are now between 7 and 9ms when they used to be between 16 and 20, same with bbc.co.uk.  Whatever the reason, I'm a happy camper  :)

I know Simon is still tweaking the new equipment, so he may have applied his boot in just the right place for you. :)

Having said that, bandwidth is right down from around 5.5Mb to 2Mb; I'm still sync'd at 8128.  :(

4 packets transmitted, 4 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 20.0/21.2/25.0 ms
Average is usually about 24-26ms. Seems to be down a wee bit but that could just be the time of day/traffic etc.

Have you tried a BT test? I wonder if your profile has dropped.

Must have just been a freak result.  BT is showing my profile as 7150kbps with a speed of 6105kbps;  TB speed tester now shows 4887 and BBMax shows 6506kbps.  I'll do another couple of tests tomorrow to check.

Now you know why I don't trust most speed testers. ;)

my ping has gone up  :( from 25 to 38  >:(

				Is that consistent?
