Title: What do these mean ?
Post by: old Bill on Jan 13, 2008, 19:28:08
Found this section hidden away on the 2700.
– Resets
Local Network  Clears all devices from your Local Network list. Network devices will appear in the list as they are re-discovered.
DSL Connection  Retrains your DSL connection on the same line.
ISP Connection  Resets your PPP connections and/or releases and renews your broadband IP address.
Broadband Link  Reestablishes your broadband link.
  BT2700HGV  Reboots your BT2700HGV.
to Factory State  Warning! Resets configuration parameters.

Note: These actions are for diagnostic and troubleshooting purposes only. Some actions will change configuration settings and will affect the operation of your gateway.

If I want to change the pipe I am on from Enta but not reboot the system which one do I choose as they all seem to do the same ?

ISP connection for that, Bill :)

Broadbank link is a combination of the two above it. DSL connection is the sync with the exchange.
