Knowing BT, we could see some stale sessions around afterwards. :(

They can unplug something from one place, and plug it in in another :)

You laugh, but that is exactly what BT (who manage our IT at work) did to my extension at work! It took them two weeks to find the 'fault' on my phone and to plug it back in!

It's what they did when I moved house too, and swore for a week that it wasn't their fault that I had no phone.  Eventually, they agreed to come out, threatening a charge if the fault was found at my end, which I countered with my own threat of my charge to them if it was their fault.  They then discovered that they hadn't reconnected the line after moving my number from the my property (which I sensed was BS), and offered me a grand gesture of £1 per day for my mobile phone costs!

Magnanimity was never BT's strong suit. :(

I lost connection from about 02:50 - 03:40 so I'd guess they are done. So much for 1 minute duration!

Well my sync is down today, must of been due to BT as i've had top sync since i've had the 2700 router.

Current Rate:         8064 kbs         448 kbs
Max Rate:       8648 kbs       1080 kbs

Current Connection:
Current Noise Margin:       8.0 dB       25.0 dB
Current Attenuation:       36.8 dB       24.5 dB

It looked like you re-synced when there was a bit of noise on the line, as your noise margin is now back up to 8db. You could try forcing a re-sync by rebooting the connection (or the whole router) and hopefully it will make up the extra 64kbps needed for max sync.

I don't appear to have lost connection either, Gary. Possibly it didn't affect all customers.

Sync speeds have remained the same for me, as Lance said its probably noise related

I must admit I was expecting more problems (or at least some) caused by BT's maintenance, though I'm glad there weren't many. :)

I was preparing for the worst on Sunday, with the stale session info, and hoping for the best. It seems like we got away with the latter.

I don't think i would have noticed if BT had went and messed it up as my net connection has been a bit unreliable over the last couple of weeks.

Think having a good look at the internal wiring in the house is most defiantly the next step if i can find the time.
