Title: Swapping packages
Post by: gingerjedi on Jan 10, 2008, 14:13:20
Hi,

I have a 2meg home 2000 package with Idnet as my line was too unstable for ADSLmax, a recent voice fault on my line has resulted in BT replacing the part of the line which may mean my line would now be ok for ADSLmax.

Is there a charge for swapping to ADSLmax? And more importantly would there be a charge if it was still problematic and I wanted to swap back?

Hi,

For upgrading a package, I don't think there is a charge. If it comes to going back to the fixed rate, I think this would be done for free if it is as a result of the MAX being unstable on the line.

I would recommend though, a call to CS who will be able to confirm everything. :)

Thanks for the reply,

I will monitor my connection for a couple of weeks and ring CS if all is well, I used to get a bit of crackle on the line just before a disconnect so I want to make sure that's definitely gone before I do anything.
