Title: Removing an email address from my account
Post by: wkb21 on Dec 23, 2007, 20:32:51
I am trying to evade spam.  How do I remove an "@idnetfreemail.co.uk" address from my account?  I can't see such an option in the account management area.

I believe you need to contact IDNet support to have an email address deleted, which can be done via email over the holiday period. It has never quite made sense to me why the option to delete an email address is missing from the customer area, perhaps you could suggest such a feature in your address removal request.

Thanks.  I'll do that.

Idnet.com addresses can be deleted from your accounts page, but idnetfreemail ones cannot. As Adam says, if you ask support, they will kill it off for you. Alternatively, just don't access the account for 60 days and it will be purged automatically.
