Did anyone have issues getting to the forum before 8am? I had server reset messages until just after 8am :-\
Obviously just a glitch then, and I found it ;D
I noticed an issue yesterday, Gary, but it cleared itself before I could dial...
This happened about 7:20am this morning Rik, went to log in and got the server reset message from firefox, then just after 8am all was ok :-\
Serves you right for getting up so early Gary.. :hehe:
;D
A strange activity, vaguely reminiscent of having to earn a salary. (http://bestsmileys.com/eek/11.gif)
Gary - Martin took the server down this morning for some housekeeping.
Right that explains it ;D, shame you cant have a server down for maintenance message put up somehow :-\

I suspect that's what the reset message was saying. :)
That would be a catastrophe then Gary. :hehe:
Seriously, I saw the cats at the gallery, they look lovely.

Some forums have a "we are down for maintenance back at...." message, that was what I meant Rik not the server offline FF generic one ;)

Thanks Inactive they are a pair of cuties and cuddle under the Duvet and lick my nose to wake me up for their breakfast, with my wife Justina away I would be lost for company without them ;D

We do, Gary, but for it to be displayed, the server has to be up.
How come some site manage a server offline for work then Rik, I'm fuddled
All I'm saying, Gary, is that if we take the forum down, we do display a message. If IDNet take the server down, it's up to them what is displayed.

Ok this is Gary to Rik at ground control, understood now, over ;)
I expect they were dusting it before the christmas break.. keep it nice and clean and shiny for us ;D
It's obvious Rik needs to start getting up earlier, to look after us :pat:

That's exactly what they were doing, in computer terms, Ann. Cleaning up the server, making sure we had plenty of space etc. :)

If I do that, I'll have to start going to bed at night, Malc. :o

And we thought you were 24 hour support
:legpull:
No, it's a common misconception. The truth is that Sue supports me 24/7. ;D

True. That's more like it, Sue can't just :del:
Sue can work miracles while I am merely mortal. :)
