seen some speedtests by users of BE and good gawd, some of those guys and gals are gettin close to 20 meg download speeds, that would be too cool for words. anybody got any idea when ID plan to embrace it too ?
Jimmy
It will be down to when BT offer it as a wholesale product, afaik. If IDNet have got plans to go LLU, I haven't heard about them yet - but, of course, there's no reason why I would. :)
I believe Simon said that it is when your exchange is connected to the BT 21st century network, which will be on different dates for individual users
Guess who is at the end of that queue. :'(
My exchange is set for Q4 2008. ;D
You're just jammy, Noreen. :)
Of course that's if "Sam" knows what he's talking about. :)
Sam probably does, the schedules were published a while back by BT. I'm another three years off. :'(

2011 here.. looks like I'll be the last to get it. Oh well, we never did get terrestrial channel 5 so we're used to being left out.

Ditto, End. I can't for the life of me find it on the site!
How do you find out your date, is it on BT's site?
It's shown against exchanges at Samknows (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/index.php).
Found it! Q3 2008 (http://si6776.www.idnet.com/smileys/yeaaay!.gif)
Q2/2010. :'(
People must have been mystified by my post #6. ;D
Don't worry, Noreen. People are mystified by my posts whenever I make them. ;)
Q1 2009 - one year to go
If there are any others out there who (like me) are a bit befuddled by all this, there is an overview here http://www.samknows.com/broadband/21cn_overview.php I didn't understand it all but it did help. :) It does seem that at first it might make little difference.
