Is there a download limit on this package?
welcome goldmercury to the forums ;D

assuming you mean this one..
http://www.idnet.net/solutions/maxpremium.jsp
The website says:
Up to 8 Mbps* download speed
Up to 832 Kbps* upload speed
Unlimited downloads
Unlimited uploads
The AUP says:
Illegal Use
The IDNet network may be used only for lawful purposes. Transmission, distribution or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited. This includes, without limitation, material protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property rights used without proper authorisation, and material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export control laws.

So the answer to your question would appear to be no, providing that what you download is legal.
A call to IDNet would be best though.
It would be interesting to know how that could actually be policed, Rik. Can any ISP distinguish what is being downloaded legally or illegally?
I think that this has been asked befoe and it was established that an ISP could log details of where a certain IP address has visited, but IDNet don't do this.
I could be wrong though!

Not unless they examine every packet, Simon. OTOH, they do know who had which IP address at what time, especially with static addresses. If someone like FAST seized a server and analysed the 'subscribers', then they could no doubt get a court order requiring ISPs to identify the user.
Best we all behave then! (http://pc-pals.com/pics/smileys/grin.gif)
