Title: Possibly a stupid question
Post by: davet on Aug 14, 2006, 14:44:53
from a recent migrator, but does the bandwidth cap include upload as well as download?  I can't find anything on the site to say.

Cheers

Dave

Welcome DaveT.
Not stupid at all...there's a small reference to it on the products page but I can confirm that uploads DO NOT count to your bandwidth total.

Thanks guys.  I did search the forum first and couldn't find an answer, that's why I thought it might be stupid!

So far so good on IDNET  ;D although anything would be an improvement over F2S!!

noticed much difference?  My line quality has jumped up after buying a new router and changing the faceplate, but my actual speed hasn't changed much (if at all), my main reason for leaving F2S was the dire CS and TS.

My stats are -

Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]:   448 / 7,616

Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]:   11.5 / 19.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]:   27.0 / 42.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]:   22.0 / 8.5

Never get more than 4000 on speedtests, usually around 3-4k

I was on F2S then went to Tocan, F2S is amazing compared. Toucan was the worsed decision in my life and get this, Toucan rang me the other day to give me a MAC code, I left them over 10 days ago...lol
