You router will be able to tell you if it sees that connection as "fast
Path" or "interleaved" in its connection stats.

But I can't find this setting any were my router is the NETGEAR DG834Gv2

Hi there,

If you look at this post (http://www.idnetters.idnet.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=44.30) it will tell you the instructions on how to find the details of you connection.

If you still don't know post what is shown on the page and we will be able to tell you.

Just found one

First logon to the router and then select this address:

http://192.168.0.1/setup.cgi?todo=debug

which should result in a screen which just says 'Debug enable'.
(That's assuming that you haven't changed the router's IP address from the default).

Then exit from the web interface and open a command-line window. Type:

telnet 192.168.0.1

You should get a BusyBox welcome message to confirm that your telnet connection is established.

Now type:

cat /proc/avalanche/avsar_modem_stats
