A third service pack for Office 2003, promising improved security and enhanced compatibility with Windows Vista, Office 2007, Internet Explorer 7 and Windows SharePoint Services, will be available starting today (September 18), so probably after 6pm today or at a point over the week.

There are rumours that Vista sp1 will be close to 1GB depending on how many patches you have already, not nice if you buy vista the day before ;)
Hopefully, they will offer a CD or DVD as they did for XP SP2.

Dial up is no longer feasible with the way software houses have gone - even printer software can be 50MB+. Broadband is as essential as breakfast. :)
