Title: Moving house...
Post by: Greg on Aug 24, 2007, 14:08:50
I'm slightly confused over this as i havn't done it before....I have recently got IDNET at my current house, however due to unforeseen circumstances I am going to move house. I believe it is on the same exchange however I can't see any way on the website to start the process of transferring the internet. The house I am moving to currently has a broadband line installed, so will I need the MAC? code of the current account to swap them over? or will i have to cancel my account and then pay all over again?

Thanks

Greg

Hi Greg

BT usually charge for this, so it's a cease and re-provide I'm afraid. Have a word with IDNet to confirm, but I don't think there's any way to migrate a connection to a new address, sorry.
