My wife's quota on her email has been used up.
How do I reduce the number of emails saved as she can't now receive any?
Is this an IDNet email account? She can either download the emails from the server via a desktop email client, or go to https://webmail.idnet.net/ and delete what she doesn't need in there. Bear in mind sent and junk emails also add up towards the quota.
I've just tried to log onto https://webmail.idnet.net/ but it will not let me and as my wife has gone over her quota she can no longer receive her emails.
When you say "it will not let me", is there a given reason?
The other option, Den, might be to use a desktop email client to download her emails via POP3, which should then clear her inbox, and also set up the same account using IMAP, which will then show her Sent / Junk folders and allow her to filter those also.
Using Thunderbird, where the email account folders are displayed, you can drag the contents of any Sent emails she wants to keep from her IMAP account to the Sent folder on her POP3 account, and that will download those emails to her desktop, thus removing them from the server.
When I try to log onto https://webmail.idnet.net/ it says it's not available. Can you try logging onto it just to see if there is a problem with idnet at the moment.
Oooooops it has now let me in and I've tried a number of times today.
I tried when you posted earlier, and I didn't have a problem then.
Just stopped again.
It's working for me at the moment.
It's working again now.
