Title: IDNet email server anomaly
Post by: zappaDPJ on Sep 10, 2021, 01:27:21
This is an odd one. It appears since sometime yesterday (Friday) I can't send emails or receive the majority of what's been sent to me. Emails that I send go to my sent box but are never received and the majority of email that I should have received has gone missing, but not every one.

Is it just me?

I don't use my IDNet email accounts all that regularly, but I've just sent a test email from one to another and it seems to be working OK for me.

Hi,

I use an idnet.com account for all my email and I haven't noticed any problems so far today.

I use it as a POP3 account and download to and send from Thunderbird.

I had a delay today and then a bunch all arrived at once, but that was my IDnet domain mail. My iDnet.com mail is working fine.

That's rather coincidental don't you think...

My received email started coming through at 6.22am this morning including a PayPal receipt (delivered 17.07) for a transaction timed at 20:55:51 the previous day. That if nothing else proves there was an issue with the server. All the emails sent during that time have been confirmed as lost.
