I'm not sure if this is wholly off topic but it would be good to run it past you lot. A friend emails regularly. They have an old NTL address and recently it has been playing up. The error message for the last bounce was that it tried to send it for 37 mins and it can back labelled as spam. (Does that mean it's tried c37 times, I wonder??) I've suggested they contact their provider. Is there anything else I can do? (I have rung IDNet and spoke to Brian.)
So it this you trying to email them that's bouncing, or them trying to email you?
Them trying to email me.
It's likely the sender's mail server has got blacklisted.
Except other people get them. So, it probably is best if they ask VM?
Have you tried adding them to your whitelist filter in your IDNet email settings? Not sure if it will help, but might be worth a try.
I have it set up so that no-one in my address book should be classed as spam. Will that do?
I guess so. :dunno: I've always done it in my IDNet Customer Portal email settings.
I've done that now in the Dashboard so we'll see if that sorts it out.
It does seem to have done the trick, Simon. Thanks.
