Title: Alexa and Hive: having to repeat commands more than once?
Post by: pctech on Dec 29, 2019, 22:15:28
Hi all

I think this might be something internal to AWS as both seem to be hosted on it but thought I'd ask here.

Have a couple of Dots and have associated my Hive sign in with Alexa so I can control the thermostat and smartbulbs, am using their original hub which is linked with an ethernet lead directly to my Fritzbox 3490 which has the latest 7.12 firnware (I received this when I upgraded to FTTP with Zen)

It sometimes takes a while to acknowledge or will apparently ignore the commands for the thermostat and bulbs.

Have reset the router etc but just wondered if anyone else with a similar setup has any similar issues (one of the Dots is on my PC desk with the router in the cupboard so it's not miles away)
