Title: FB notifications
Post by: peasblossom on May 05, 2019, 13:21:14
I'm not on Facebook and am never going to be, but every so often I get notifications from them. In French. I'm guessing my email address has been used for some purpose. Is this something to worry about or not? (I have filter set up so they all go to Trash and get deleted when I quit Thunderbird. Also, this is not my IDNet address.)

(Not sure this is the right bit of the forum to post this on but going for it anyway.)

Check out your email address on this site, it will tell you if it's been compromised in a data breach at some time (it's a safe site to use):- https://haveibeenpwned.com/ (https://haveibeenpwned.com/) if it has I'd be inclined to delete it at set up a new address. I have to do that with a couple of my email addresses recently for similar reasons.

Thanks, Ray. I checked it and nothing seems amiss in that sense but I have changed my password on it.
