Title: Such a small thing
Post by: Broadback on Jan 13, 2017, 12:51:08
I am ashamed to ask. I use Mozilla Thunderbird for email, when composing "return" does a double line feed. No big deal, just annoying, but the really annoying bit I cannot find a way to do single line feed. Any ideas please?

In the (new) message pane, on the bottom line of the menu section, underneath "Subject", you'll probably find the left-hand box says "Paragraph". Use the drop-down menu to change it to "Body Text". To have it doing single carriage returns by default, under Tools/Options/Composition untick the box that says "When using paragraph format, the enter key creates a new paragraph".

Thanks Colirv, the second option has fixed it. :thumb:

Solution: Don't send HTML emails.
