Post by: mk1 on Jun 20, 2016, 11:35:41
Just noticed that the line rental cost has been reduced by £2? Seems an unexpected reduction?

£12.83 a month if you pay yearly compared to £18.99 if you rent from BT. That what it looks like to me. Quite a saving if it's right.

I thought that to be the case when I received my last bill.  But there was no mention of it on the website at that time.

Sounds like passing on the DD savings costs to the customer? Nice. :)

Am I the only one that finds the fibre broadband page confusing?  It's not until you get to the bottom of the page that you realise the prices are ex vat.  It would make more sense if the link to 'show vat included' prices was nearer to the top of the page.  Either that or do like Zen and split the site into two - one showing ex vat aimed at business, with the other vat inclusive for the domestic user.

I appreciate they're going for the business market but I don't feel the current layout serves anybody particularly well.

Agree that the line rental price drop is welcome  :)

I find it confusing and hard work! Agree it could be improved on.
