Title: Changing settings when I don't have access to dashboard
Post by: Matt6453 on May 17, 2016, 22:51:01
Hi,

I was a long-standing idnet customer but when I moved house I enquired if were possible to keep my idnet email address but use a different ISP. The good people at idnet said that as long as kept using email it would continue to work and true to their word it's been faultless for 3 years or more.

I do have a slight problem now where someone I need to be in regular contact with keeps getting blocked and I only find their email via logging into the webmail server and checking the junk mail folder. I can move it to the inbox which then allows exchange to download it but would like to know if there's a permanent solution?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

I did wonder if the webmail interface offered any forwarding options, but having just checked mine, it seems not.

As you no longer have an IDNet customer account, my guess is that your best (and possibly only) option might be to ask your sender to contact you via a different email address - perhaps one with your current ISP?

If you know your IDNet account username/password or still have the letter with them on it you can still access the dashboard, if not give Miriam a quick call, I'm sure she would reset them for you.
