Post by: Broadback on Aug 29, 2015, 15:15:55
Is this software desirable/necessary if one has Eset?

I find Malwarebytes was good for finding Trojans and advertising software. I've not checked recently who is the best. But do install it to do a scan on occasion. As I only use it to check for and get rid of advertising software, I uninstall it after the scan, and only use the free version.

I use other software for virus scans. So stay protected!

It should run alongside ESET without any problems so I would I keep it onboard as it may find things the AV suites miss.

Yeah I agree with Simon...it works fine with my AV and I also run SUPERanti spyware aswell as malwarebytes as sometimes one misses something and the othe picks it up  :dunno: :dunno:    which I always find odd  :)
