Title: Puzzle with MS Works history
Post by: Broadback on Jul 11, 2015, 11:52:46
Until recently my MS Works displayed on the right a box with recently opened files. I found this very convenient and would like to recover it. Can some kind folk help please? I tried using open office, but opening my existing .wps files is problematical.

Rather than OpenOffice, look at using LibreOffice instead. A lot more work has gone on in LO than in OO. https://www.libreoffice.org/download

If you open a program in works and in the task bar click on view you can turn on or off the task panel as you wish.  :)

Thanks Den, that worked fine. But n=meanwhile I have move over to Libre, which I like more. I am sorry for the late reply but I have been in hospital after a fall, just for the day when I was very thoroughly checked over. Perhaps I am lucky but I have nothing but praise for the NHS.  :thumb:.

Sorry to hear that, BB.  Best to take more water with it.   ;)
