Another forum I frequent was subject to a DDoS attack a couple of weeks ago, one of the users posted this http://map.ipviking.com/ a graphical view of some of the attack traffic on the internet.

That site looks like something you might see on the screen of a computer in a Hollywood movie but does seem to provide some interesting info too.
