Title: Spam Question
Post by: sparky on Feb 17, 2015, 12:06:32
Over the past year the amount of spam emails I'm getting into my idnet.com junk folder has increased significantly.
I'm now getting upwards of 20 or so spam emails a day, mainly Russian, an odd few from gmail and others.

This has always been my primary email address, I have a gmail account that I use when I sign up for newsletters, oddball information etc. Anything that I don't want having my primary email address.

But, I'm now wondering if it's time to "junk" my primary address and start again with a new one, with all the pain that goes with it.

Should I be concerned, or am I being over security conscious?

I get them too.  You could set up a Blacklist filter to delete '*@*.ru' (without the quote marks), which should stop then from even reaching your Junk folder.
