Title: New BT FTTC offer Vs IDnet FTTC offerings
Post by: mk1 on Feb 14, 2015, 12:28:42
Having a pricing dilemma! To change from ADSL to FTTC, it appears BT offer a cheaper FTTC (infinity 1) than I am paying for IDnets ADSL (Pro) ~£37 vs ~£29, so before I drastically decide to go with BT! Any other good reasons for stick to IDnet (noting I am not going to pay £80 for FTTC upgrade, when i paid ~£150 a few mouths ago for the line install)

Just for ease the offer I have is 12.50 for BT Infinity 1 + TV (plus 16.99 line rental) 1yr contract then +£3 (minus TV) This is the capped fibre ~40MB verse IDnets 80MB

I'm not botherd by the TV part of the BT offer but any views on this would be welcome.

Thanks

What is your lines potential in terms of throughput ie if your can't much over 40 down it may influence your choice.
