Its so difficult these days innit?
I just got an Email from "Microsoft Corporation Account Service" regarding "Reactivation of Microsoft Account"
It all looks legit on the face of it, until you look closer. The usual way to spot scams is that there are normally minor grammatical or punctuation errors, or there are some mild threats of something bad happening if you don't comply. And sure enough all the warning signs are here.
I've copied and pasted the text in bold below.
Dear User,
For your own Security, We are having a system Re-activation of all Microsoft Account.
Please click and follow the link below to Sign In & Re-activate your account to avoid closure !.
Update Here
Thank you
So be warned!! Don't touch that link!
A definite scam!
Basically, anything with links to 'your account' should be seen as malicious. Most reputable companies wouldn't request such actions via email.
Definitely a scam. God knows what malware it will download to your computer.

Reminds me of all those people complaining about companies having all their information, DRM, private messages etc. The post such comments on Facebook while using Windows logged in on their Live account. ;)
