Sir Clive Sinclair has today announced the launch of a new low-cost games computer based on his hugely successful Spectrum products of the early 1980s.

I don't really see how that's any different from any one of the many Android-based TV dongles. I bet there's a Spectrum emulator for Android too...

Before I'd even finished reading I was thinking "it will be an Android bandwagon jump years late when everyone has moved on already". :P

Think the market appeal is going to be limited when you consider what the Playstation and Xbox is capable of.

Even Sony have released the Streaming+ PS1/PSP box to plug in. While at 80 (without a controller), so closer to £100 full price, it's a lot more powerful than most Androids.

I had a Spectrum in 1982 but I've grown up a bit since then.   :laugh:
